Bamboo

I have a feeling that
a thousand years ago
I was a Chinaman,
perhaps a Korean.
I have no evidence that I was,
but I have none that I wasn't.
It's more of a gut feeling.
I enjoy hanging around
in Chinatown, the language,
art and culture of Asia
fascinate and intrique me,
especially art, cinema
and martial arts.
I've dated Asian women,
and I am with one right now.
Within her silky caress
I have found comfort for today
and a connection to my past.

i too have a huge fondness for oriental things and places yep could of been a past life~ nice james
