I done got the dog-house, living room, hard sofa blues, It happened last night during the ten o'clock news, Connie came in and sat close down beside me, Snuggled up close and whispered, Dear what's on TV? I done got the dog-house, living room, hard sofa blues, Our bed sure is soft, I really wish I was there, My clothes in a pile on the overstuffed chair, Ain't got me my pillow, I'm tired and I'm sore, I ain't sure I wouldn't sleep better, if I was down on the floor, I done got the dog-house, living room, hard sofa blues, The living room clock, TICK TOCK, done keeps me awake, I done got me a headache, my head just might bust, I wish I hadn't answered, Dear, I think it might be dust, I done got me the dog-house, living room, hard sofa blues. |

Well done...love and hate the blues....love to listen, hate to have them.....but your blues could be worse...OBGee why me blues?...Nobody loves me but my mama and she could be jivin' too.....I'd rather be blind than to see you go...yep....the blues can be tough.... |
