I’m in a state of wonder,
Throughout my every day.
There’s beauty all around me,
As I go along my way.

Trees reach up to blue skies,
Cool streams run crystal clear.
Flowers sweet with fragrance,
Green forests full of deer.

Oceans roll on forever,
Bright stars stud midnight skies.
Fresh daisies blanket meadows,
~ We live in paradise.

Life is full of miracles,
The wonder of them all.
The changing of the seasons~
Winter, spring, and summer, fall.

Pink cherry-blossom orchards,
And fields of golden wheat.
Sunflowers with happy faces,
As they soak up summer heat.

The flora and the fauna,
Are gifts from Mother Earth.
~ Blessings rained upon us,
From the moment of our birth.

I’m in a state of wonder,
Throughout my every day.
There’s beauty all around me,
As I go along my way.

Enchanting One ~

Oh, yes! 'Twas a lovely spring day ~ and evening. My BF surprised me by picking me up after work and taking me out to dinner and then for a wonderful drive in the country. I was in a total "state of wonder"!

(smiles) Oh Linda, everyday to me truly feels like an enchanting quest to me, where I'm on the universal playground of life, making my way through the enchanted forests of destiny and learning to sing like the birds so I can approach the world with a lasting sense of fascination in even the most trite things like your other poem, hehehe! (giggles) I believe in reaching for the stars and even many days when I feel I should stop, breathe, and rest on my laurels for a while, I shake that thought away because wonder still dominates my lungs! (smiles) God Bless You, sweet friend, you still have that young heart in you and having a young heart forever I believe always keeps us enjoying life at its fullest, yay, we all love you so much!
