An Observation

The moon transitions,
once again bringing benign admiration
to its landscape.
I think of you while touching
the finder lens, careful not to mistake
the subtle variations that transit
for sustained interest. And yet I wonder,
is heaven commonplace
like this
nightly occurrence?

As always I am left in awe of your writing ability.
Extremely well written.

Nothing commonplace
about the heavens,
or your ability
to bring a smile...

Thank you, Robert.

life supplies the variations for us all.

sometimes that is a good thing and sometimes it is not.

But we learn to cherish what is.

Well, for starters, a poem entitled "An Observation" by you, Dear Bob, would most-assuredly grab my attention! I am fascinated by your views of the world we live in.

~ and even if anything were to be generally considered "commonplace", with your words, you have the uncanny ability of making the mundane quite notable!
