Softly Whimpered Sigh
~*Marge Tindal*~

I managed to hold back
the spilling of tears from the eye
But, try as I might, I could not contain
one softly whimpered sigh~

With shoulders squared against the night
he felt the touch of that sigh
turned back and held me gently
said, "Go ahead, love, just cry."~

In the strongest arms I’ve ever known
he held me ever-tender
Until, to the searing tears,
I finally surrendered~

Ever so gently, he said,
"I do not want to leave you
The choice is not mine for the making
I would give all that I have to give
if it did not have to be
but I have no control over what is to come
no control over the enemies fighting inside of me"
~

"When the night breeze brushes
your shoulders bared to the moonlight
know that I will send my Spirit
to quilt you through the night"
~

"After a time, my love,
you will find another to take my place
Though you may not recognize me
know that it will be me with another earthly face"
~

"The Spirit circles … comes ’round again
Back to the safe harbor of love it has known
for this heart has loved you too completely
to ever leave you totally alone"
~

*In his leaving … he left more than he took*
~Then true to his word … the Spirit of him has circled back~
April 18th of always
(Yes, old love, the date still has a tender significance)

~*When the heart grieves over what it has lost,
the spirit rejoices over what it has left.
- Sufi epigram <))><

So beautiful..so gently whispered.
Lovely Marge...lovely.
Heart Hugs.

For it was not into my ear you whispered
But into my heart
It was not my lips you kissed
But my soul

Oh Marge, I can't begin to tell you the emotions I'm feeling right now. I felt like I was reading about my own life. I'm just so deeply moved. I'm not even trying to hold back the tears. I really don't know what else to say. Something has happened on the inside of me that I can't explain. Something that needed to happen. I feel as though somehow a deep pain that I have carried for the last 3 years has eased upon reading this beautiful piece. Thank you my friend.
Love & tight hugs as I weep upon your loving shoulder,
Jules
