Listening to every heart

Nothing, easy….

Nothing comes easy, at least,
no thing worthwhile;
every step is uphill, yet, begets a smile…
for if into sun we’re climbing,
then perhaps the night may rest calm;
and if troubles persist a soul,
mayhap some words would be balm.

This is a time for cross-roads,
perhaps a time to adjust the scales;
take stock before the Maker,
and ask Jonah of the Whale;
shift the sands of uneasy
to a sand that is quick, and sure,
while life is finding time
to offer its’ simple cures…

To seek a horizon’s quest, and not shudder
from all that is unknown
to tarry awhile with life’s awesome,
and not hold it, all alone…

I hope this, in momentary…

a    sweet    second       of some bliss….

is kin to ever-knowing,
a moment that won’t be missed.

Wonderful words m'dear...
indeed words to live by.

  even if the answer is so simple~

My spirit will rise
above the sea~
There will be no drowning
of my soul or me~

Comaparative thought of two poets,  laid out in their lines....

"Nothing comes easy, at least,
no thing worthwhile;
every step is uphill, yet, begets a smile…
for if into sun we’re climbing,
then perhaps the night may rest calm;
and if troubles persist a soul,
mayhap some words would be balm."
(Karilea Rilling Jungel)

"You don't have to shout or leap about
You can even take it easy
Please remember peace is what we make it
It's here within your reach, you are big enough to take it

(but)....you know it don't come easy"
(George Harrison)

Well done, as usual, Karilea

I believe as you, and if it were not for the darkness, how could we come to know the marvelous blessing of light?

You are indeed Sunshine!
