Once upon a time even clowns were known to cry
more so now a woman, man, trapped in reality
brutal and aggressive when uncovered is the truth
by clear vision of a prophet, a seer, or simply me.

Permission granted to address the plight of humankind
and I see there is a field prepared for you and me
where immortal time plants and grows a mind
in sand of pleasure/pain and fanciful day dreams.

Stepping so to the side to get a better view
and saddened is my heart by self destructive deeds
pouring rain and havoc, grief, and temporary beliefs,
onto the deaf and blind, poor in spirit, and healthy.

Oh, it’s all ordained and decreed as water for the trees
to sprout beneath the surface new roots of understanding
and lift above the surface a firm and stable trunk
able so to support the weight of new beginnings.

And weighted in the ether by all we didn’t see
or take the time to feel in this land of growing old
only half of who we are will sit by the fireside
the other in the cold will say, “I wasn’t told.”

A parable of old brought forward to this day
like a riddle or a quiz to be considered, known,
but always right or wrong the effort and endeavour
joins two halves together at the fireside of soul!

... and he won't be justified!

Your message is clear and it is cloaked in wise and powerful verses.

Thank you all so much for reading.

Seymour - yes, two halves do indeed become the one but ... how many lifetimes before we are considered worthy?  Perhaps many depending on thought, will, and deed.

Your words are almost hanging and haunting

We can take a horse to water
But can we make it drink

We can take water to a horse
But can we make it drink

No the quality of the water such

No-one but a poor human

Will drink from it
