Shower of love

When you are asleep
exploring distant shores
I call upon the stars
to shower you
with silver sparks.
Every single one
is charged
with a whisper of love
born in my heart.
And then I sit
under the disguise
of the night
and watch your smile
diffusing radiance.
Emotions stir the air,
enchanted hours
wrap our souls
in their embrace.
When the stars fade,
dawn’s soft touch
carries a new song.
It’s the echo
of the firmament’s
shower of love.
It’s my voice,
the lingering caress
of the night.
It’s my essence
expanding within you
spilling love and light.
