I want you to be happy
even if its not with me

I want you to not cry
don't waste your tears
over me.

I want you to love again

I want you to take care of
yourself and know that
your looked after.

For I will always be there for you
through and through dark skies and
grey most any day. Even if i'm dying
inside Just know this I'll always be
there by your side

Fool me once shame on you.....Fool me twice shame on me.....

I suppose one of the hard parts of love is learning to let go...to accept that love does not always work out...James

Oh my. Sentiments reciprocated. I must say this poem has put a twinge in my heart as I slowly remember the notorious One Who Got Away. Beautiful poem...on a personal level...through and through.
