The while:
Above
All seems death-yet,
Lifeless-leafless-
Branches,
Strangleheld
In winters hold.

The while:
Roots explore
Gripping walls
Of ice abandoned
Caverns.

The while:
The spring sun
Seems cold;
But the earth
Is easily aroused,
Urging radicals
To tongue-test mana,
Stored in its catacombs.

I felt a wandering of sorts upon reading this...like possiblities floating slowly over my head, with the ability to choose

This was tremendous!

You succinctly ~ yet ever so effectively! ~ brought the reader from the cold and dark of winter into the promise of new life in spring.
