Brine's House of Love

Evenings sunset softly glows,
across the clear painted horizon ,
of the frothy turquoise seas,

Peacefully sitting,
upon the blanket of soft golden sand,
your gentle hand enclosed in mine,
inside your eyes,
sunsets reflection I do see,

Fresh oceans salty breeze,
magically dances across your beaming face
for this our dream,
loves eternal resting place,

Seagulls in unison soar way above us,
in open periwinkle blue skies,
a single heartfelt tear begins to form,
inside my dark brown eyes,

So very long ago, this was our hearts dream,
our tattered, old beach house, quietly sitting on an oceanfront hill
me painting the oceans scenes,
you writing mythical stories, poems, from heart, mind, with quill,

The graceful, delicate seagulls constantly remind me of our love,
so free, gentle,
riding the wind beneath their feathered wings,

At nights edge, when full yellow moon glows,
cascading down upon the beach,
in soft silence,
you can hear the waves of the ocean sing,

Tranquil serene comfort,
love nest where love resides,
laughter and unending happiness always abides,

My sweet soul quietly rests,
laying deeply into your loving heart,
my contented life with you has been as beautiful,
as free as the peaceful spirit of the morning dove,

You and I share a lifetime, soulful companions,
just like us, our oceans house weathered all the storms of life,
paint chipped, unpainted beauty, our oceans house of love...

This is very descriptive, and I like the use of imagery in this poem!

Yes, the imagery is first rate - gentle yearning of a dream relived...
