A cloud briefly paints the day orange;
it rains wings. Ladies land on thistle,
sip from cosmos and blazing stars.
My eyes follow an air dance,
a fluttering feast of impulses.
A few stay; it’s time.

The puff kites northward;
where you are. I picture your hands
plunged in artichoke flowers and red clover.

Are you looking up,
into our shared sky?

Oh, do you make me homesick, or what!

What?

Oh, yes...I heard that, too.

You've written a thing that many, many have wondered.

We can only hope

Reading this aloud, though softly; once, twice; what beautiful sounds and rhythm. It's so delicate, so wistful. Very well done, Corinne.

Everything is grand, up here. Were starting to shake off the winter and i'm looking forward to being with my Lady of the Sea on the 9th for her awakening...

"Oh sail with me to County Cork,
on a maiden voyage of gentle seas
and run thru the mire and the mists,
on a lover's mystical journey"

Got room in the hold.

Bob, what lovely words, thank you! It's been a long time. Hope things are well with you and yours.

Park,

you are correct, you are not an adult which is what makes you so cute and cuddly!

Thanks for remembering that poem, btw!

Went to opening day (today!) at the yacht club in town. Nice to watch the boats parading around, all dressed up in pretty flags and spit polished just so!

Soon you'll be out there -- wind and water and sun!
