A Lonely Time

spring speaks in lavender pink and blue
in a green way that I can understand
its tender words caress under my skin
says it wants to love me and wants to be mine
with a sun bend to kiss in aching tremble
trying to touch beneath my winter cold
I open my arms to reach a new garden
from space that has been a lonely time

just some words cut out
from the diary of my heart

Such a delicate touch.

I know of those places of lonely times
but new gardens grow, yes they do
