Town meetings will now have a set of rules,
Pre selected questions for political answers.
Only people from the ruling party may attend.
Those with bumper stickers or on lists
Banned from public funded discussions.

Countries not abiding by American dominance,
Will have their companies banned here, and
Abroad in the fight for Republican Democracy.
Which seems to have, natural resources involved,
To justify any presidential military action.

Mandating their extreme conservative view,
Wanting to put all power in a president.
To stifle liberal tendencies in a constitution.
Leader who will cut back states rights,
Into a strong authoritarian government.

This party will be for the corporate kings,
People of extreme wealth and prestige.
Lower classes will be silenced in servitude.
Anyone objecting will be terminated,
First in employment then by labeling.

Schools will mandate strict guidelines like
Those in Red China, teaching compliance.
Uniforms will display their national pride.
Art programs will be slashed because
It instills a sense of independence.

Free spirited minds will be programmed
By intimidation, lies, and peer pressure.
Failing they will fabricate distorted facts
To imprison them like those Chinese
Of Tiananmen Square, called terrorists.

Religion will come to power in government
For they can then eliminate liberal churches,
Eliminate religions controlled from elsewhere.
Merge them like corporations with leaders
Pledging allegiance to national power brokers.

This new democracy would have fraternities
Of pre-selected future leaders of politics,
Stamped in censored libraries and studies.
Every book here approved from Washington.
Assuring the reign of a Republican Democracy.

Voting will become a chore to lower classes.
Membership of elite status will mandate voting,
Poll watchers making sure you vote party lines.
And recording names of who showed up.
Fraternities dictating members vote for a slate.

The immigration of America’s diversity
Will start our country into conservative isolation.
Our borders sealed from unwanted influences.
Citizens needing passports to exit on vacations,
Being approved by the Secretary of State.

They will make sure not to import free will,
Into “At Will” states of corporate restrictions.
That a country divided in two classes is better.
The haves of wealth and have-nots of poverty.
Faces haunting any improvised nation in shame.

Why do they want to change social security?
Because those who will be allowed to work,
Can put then in personal investment accounts,
Feeding Wall Streets creative accounting,
Creating huge profits from nonvoting stocks.

CEO’s living like kings in extreme luxury,
Controlling companies with voting stock options.
While seniors who have been unemployed
Have nothing to live for, becoming homeless.
Or forced back to their children’s care in shame.

*sigh* too many truths in this to be a comfortable read,  but who said the writes of life would be comfortable?
A good punch-in-the-belly write.
