My cup of life brims
With joyous simplicities
That each day offers
Just take a moment to breathe ~
And be grateful that you can

Just yesterday I had a conversation regarding the term "rejoice"...

and it seems to me that we ought to
be counting our blessings as we find them...

for truly, they are right beneath
our fingertips.

Excellent, Chris...

Yes indeed Chris...be grateful that we can breathe..
(I'm saddened to hear word of Peter Jenning's health)

When I saw the title..I thought this was going to be about 'roll up the rim' ..
Must be this weather...finally,
it has turned the corner and captured me.

But into my heart
It was not my lips you kissed

Beautiful Chris.....I love the profound ordinariness and terse simplicity of ".....Just take a moment and breathe...and be grateful..."

Reads like a greeting card, feels like a pleasant thought.  Let's let it reach the top once more.

Thanks, Chris,

I needed this lovely reminder to take time to breathe it in.  Several years ago, I tried my hand at composition, writing down some chords and words.  I accidently threw the piece away, and had almost forgotten about it until I saw this!  I only remember one line tonight.  "Magnify all the good that's seen outside..."  It ended with "and breathe it in."  Thank you so much for posting this, but more importantly, for being you!
