Sometimes light doesn’t always shine
on those with less of a mind to know
or understand anything other than themselves.

They hide behind their liquid power
then use it as an excuse
for ignorance.

Didn’t someone say:

“The definition of insanity is
to repeat the same behavior over and over
and expect different results”

I would hope that a time would come
when everyone
stopped listening to the stories

of woe and misfortune.
Of things designed to get attention
at the hurtful expense of others.

When gossip and victim tears
are the repeated behavior
maybe a deaf ear should be the different result.

Leaving them to talk to themselves.

Remind me not to talk to myself,
Susan...I'm not sure I'd want to
hear what I sometimes think of myself.

Food for thought here.
