wear your dawn shoes soothsin
dance for my windows
they are my eyes really
since you tied my hands
around your red dream color

pull the knob of my door
twist it back and forth
make the metal wet noise
in my hinge places
swing me back and forth

but don't use your hands
only your knees and thoughts
of bad things broken open
and left laughingly loved
wanting more than just undoing

but wanting to be justly undone

when the muse inspires
the quill dips wet and travels
o'er her parchment skin.

Such seductive wordplay, D. How can one forget?

Ah... yesss. Inspiration is always there when you know where to look.

Very nice. So many lines I loved. Interesting title, too.
