Saluting with misty eyes

Bright sunny day
Having lots of fun
Skipping, playing in the sun
Sweating with every step they take
Friends, parents, children
Spending time together
Kids wishing soring would last forever
To avoid the coming winter chill

They took pictures of our dreams
Ran to hide behind the stairs
And said maybe when it's right for you, they'll fall

I just got off the phone with stottbear, and she asked me to thank everyone for replying (something I should have done anyhow). Apparently, she kinda likes having the old man around to write with... lol
