what I learned from Euclid:
there is only one line parallel
   to another line through a given point


and with this premise
I color outside the lines
unconstrained

for no matter how many times we agree
or agree to disagree

we are separate entities
not parallel
yet each of us
is a segment of
the greater circle

and at one point or another
or so I believe,
we overlap, merge, cross paths
and make
a connection

art, poetry, music and nature
are all points
where love crosses
the lines

Math has never been my best subject, so to attempt anything hinting at math was intimidating. I had to let my muse step over her proverbial outer limits.
