Visiting Earth on a Guest Pass

He quietly taps

at the door of paradise,

though it waits, open.

-----------
It seems time....for a poem like this.
Soon....yes....so very soon.

Ed

Yes, I think you are talking about the Pope and what is soon to come for him.  He has been a good man and great pope.  I'm sure the gate will be open for him!

It has been a long and tedious time
for so many of us who have lost so
much recently...I doubt that in my
lifetime, I will ever see such a
people-pleasing Pope...

May he be delivered to Him, in Peace.

This was my last read of the night... and it draws me back this morning... your tender words are few but say so much... and say so beautifully.
