I want to write from mountain air.
Full of wildflower fragrances,
Dancing upon my words imagery,
That the sunrise, seeds them in you,
Implanting the free spited illusion,
Living inside its creative independence.

Clouds of thoughts floating free,
Meditating on their time travels.
An inner spirit climbs the sky
Taking on the eagle’s vision.
Scanning horizon of enlightenment,
Landscape of one’s own wilderness.

Here the sounds play into your mind,
Levitating the soul in contentment.
Harmony blessed creative environment,
Releasing the melody of one’s words,
Upon the canvas of written paint strokes,
Merging illusion of verbal magic.

Rivers rush upon nature’s highway,
Boulders clinging to edges of gravity.
Trees cracking voids of determination,
Diminutive fawn tracing mother’s steps.
Shading branches of sunburn luminance,
Dreams rushing inside out of a poet.

Foliage of peace and tranquility, here
You are the master of your universe.
Set free to explore your own limits.
No boundaries deterring mind waves.
Beach resilient feelings of contemplation,
Rushing upon a pen and paper.

I have often felt like that boulder.
Enjoyed the imagery and the connectedness to the real world.

Yes I agree; we could all use a little mountain air these days! I love the imagery as well in this poem!
