Pedal to floor, going one hundred ten Toe was reaching his cruising speed, but then Out from a side road came four police cars – They’d had some tips called from one of the bars A low-flying jet was coming their way... The thought of that ticket just made their day. I guess the first cop had such a strong itch To ticket Toe, he forgot that the ditch Was close to the road, for with one wrong turn His state-issued car crumpled stem to stern As he looked out at an angry gator He swore he’d get that Bama boy later. Cops two and three were well into the chase But Toerag just laughed and picked up the pace One blew out a tire, the other car shook They muttered that they would have thrown the book At Toe if their cars just wouldn’t have failed Ticket-schmicket – they’d have tossed him in jail! The last cop took such care in his pursuit That Toe just flipped him a cheery salute As he braked and spun that Cobra around Passed the cop and headed back towards town And gave a great shout - I’m glad I'm alive But can’t drive my age – a mere FIFTY-FIVE!!!  Happy Birthday, Toe!!!!  |

A Toe, is a Toe, is a Toe! ~ or is that a "rose"?!? In any regard, he is a flower to me! ~ and I don't mean a little pansy!
