hey just shakin the cobwebs off here... thanks for reading.

That's what the caretaker said.
And sometimes I think
that's what they'll say about me.

I have a friend called hurt
and I made a t-shirt
with my hands and a computer.
I pretend whoever tries
to read what I've written on it
searches my heart
like a box of warped and worn out records.

But you know... that's the joke
the really fine print
because if I'd tattoed my head
-help Me-  
they'd wish I was dead.

But not looking for this
I found a niche.
Amidst the salt on my shirt
I wrote these words on my heart
Now i'm a poet.

Cleverly written.  Especially liked the part about the tattoo on the head, "Help me!"  Too bad people can be that way.
