In the streets of tenderness
there is still the joy of leaves
that have dried into an orchestra
waiting for a child to write the lyrics

I can see that child....today's and the one in the memory that's so old it's like a dog-eared picture of a dream....there, that one -- in pigtails.

Martie,

This is such a joy to read....SO blissful, so free the child in you who dances among the leaves, who can feel tenderness in streets....~Paul

Only you Martie!!!
I love what you do with a short verse.
