Training

My horse was trained as well to fly
To the saddle, bit and the sigh
And carries me a good ways cast
Those burning embers of the past

Sometimes it takes the strangest course
More like a dragon then a horse
It snorts the heat and burning fire
Those that light the hearts desire

It searches in the morning’s dew
And wonders on the rainbows hue
It travels in the canyons sprawl
And climbed the mountains of Nepal

It takes me to the minds abyss
And back to heaven on a kiss
I stay the saddle ride my time
Taste the sweet and tart of lime

And when its time for our depart
I’ll leave the essence of my art

I think your horse is more
a Unicorn...as magical as you
make each day begin!

Good Wednesday morning, Sy-shine!

Morning Sy!
May I take a ride also on that magical horse?
What a wonderful way to start the day
with a fantasy so real
I was ready to pack my bags and fly.
Thank you Sy for this beauty.
~Morning hugs & tea, Nancy~

For it was not into my ear you whispered
But into my heart
It was not my lips you kissed
But my soul

Rainbow morning, Sir Sigh!

Would your unicorn like to fly with my unicorn to the ends of heaven's rainbow?

I have to admit I came for the title -- I'm finishing off a book chapter on that subject this evening -- but I stayed for an excellent poem. Well done!
