Between the Lines

Between in Stall

A spirit rises and must also fall
allowing the hidden inside to call
and press on the outside what bruised once was all.
Here to be caught, in the netted of stall.

As the cold begins dwindling, the sun offers new.
A heart passed the lonely, the sky in the blue.
Those clouds designed forming, bathed in the view
of the dancing below, in the sheerness for you.

It is time that proposes and marries the share,
if only those wishes met eyes in their stare.
In voice of the many, in reach of declare
"Loving begins of the self, in repair."

Words are suspended, in shadows of stead.
Alone in the distance, releasing the dread.
Erasing those voices, inside of this head,
and returning to dreamthoughts, to warmth of my bed.

Well done M!

The sun is shining, time to get out of that bed and take a walk on the beach.

Beautiful, Maureen. I always appreciate the poignant, honest self-scrutiny that you bring to your verse.  In your own reflections, you give me pause for self-reflection   Thank you
