Sea, Sky, and Sod
~ Linda L. Dowd ~

I swim crystal seas with the dolphins,
I am sleek and as fast as a fish.
I leap with the grace of a marlin,
On first star of the evening, I wish.

I’m fresh as a daisy in springtime,
I'm soft as a baby duck's down.
I’m gentle as whispering breezes,
I wear garlands of flowers on crown.

I’m clear as running spring waters,
I’m light as a feather of dove.
I’m tall as the tallest of redwoods,
I'm bathed in God's Light from Above.

I sing with the joy of canaries,
I’m in step with Old Father Time.
I climb as do roses in summer,
I age like the finest grape wine.

My heart is as brave as a lion’s,
I flow with the ebbing of seas.
I glow with the rays of Apollo,
I’m in tune with the birds and the bees.

I seek out the wisdom of owls,
I’m a part of all Nature and God.
I fly with the wings of an eagle,
I am one with the Sea, Sky, and Sod.

I echo all of the above!  I, too, know I'm in for a treat when I click your name.  No matter what mind or mood I'm in beforehand, I never leave the same!   You have a gift of inspiring life to others through your words alone!  Always a joy to stop by...
