Nothing Gained

Ha, did you think that
I would tell you how
many times before, I
have lost a woman I
greatly adored...
In writings, did you
think that I would
share all of my pain,
tell you how many times
I've cried in the rain?
This I will tell...
nothing ventured,
nothing gained.
