What Was Left For Me To Say There was nothing yesterday It was much the same today I could not write without you So I shall put my pen away I penned poems many times They have now become few As you might have realised I had always written for you What will there be tomorrow As I await the morning light Could the spark ever return After much rest and respite Still I lingered on uncertainty Emotions continue churning What was left for me to say You know I am still yearning Hope©2005 |
