Water splays  and ricochets
while brave drops cross brown shaftward path
Ticklebrows  to eyelids closed;
Sensual the showered bath.

       One streamlet  sways the winding trail
      Past slope of nose
       lofting cheek   until
        another creek it meets

      Two dreamlets sway down unminded spill
       Converging
         to make just one;
           A jovial feeling the tingling feel
         Across the lips are reeling

       More gleamlets gather upon the chin
        Curling to mere point;
       Then once again, streamlets part
         To cascade the falls of chin.

  Sensual, the showered bath
   Tickle doused the eyelids close

misc'e...

I felt this.

Better yet, I know this...
for it begins my day.

How adroit...
no...
how understanding....

yes...

this,

is.

Wonderful!!  I could actually feel the water droplets trickle.
Well done!

But into my heart
It was not my lips you kissed

So cleansing! So energizing! I enjoyed your showering words so much that I am now off to have a shower even though I had a wonderful soak in a bubble bath earlier this evening!

I love the uniqueness of your writes.

passing shadows,
   Ah... thanks.  Glad you enjoyed!

Earth Angel,
   Rub a dub dub!  Enjoy the water!  I'm glad you enjoy the invented words--the creative word play originates from lack of vocabulary!  (What is it--necessity is the mother of invention?)  I find the thesaurus most helpful, but I guess I'm just a rule breaker at heart when it comes to "sound".  It's just too darn fun to experiment!

Nightshade,

  For two years, I have wanted to write about the wonderful feeling water gives! I would be a fish if I could!  Can you imagine it tickling through your gills?  Ok...a little on the crazy side this morning!

  Thanks for reading and leaving your kind response.  I'm glad the poem was meaningful to you.

Ratleader,

   Ummmm.... ok... How do I get out of this one?  Truly, it was written in pure appreciation of the ever-changing magnetism of the innocent waterdrop! I don't really know the science of it, but I've always been fascinated by how water works.  I could sit for hours in a car gazing at the windshield under a streetlight just watching how one drop is drawn to another, then slowly into a stream... When the mass is too great, again they part and the process begins again.

LeeJ,

  "Missy!!!??? This was marvelous...you take the reader by the hand and walk us into a fantasy world...to each his/her own"

  I've often wondered if this happened, rather doubting it. Thank you for voicing it.  Hugs.

         ~miscee???!!!~
