Mirrored Invisible

I find comfort in the distance
as I walk through the glass
trusting instinct, pursuing nothing
but the hopes and dreams,
illusions at best.

Edged in thoughts of loving,
but the "window of pain"
always there to remind
that there is truth in voice
as another Spring awakens
and I press back the tears of
yesterday's once.

A cherished photo, the only one
that could open doors
to a lonely mind, like a first love.
I live "the absence of you",
motionless at times,
speechless always.

An admission of heart,
the "price of passion."
In other words titled,
parentheses mine.

~A~

OH MY GOODNESS!  I love this!  Straight from the heart to my library!  You so often convey something that at some time or another I have felt, but was unable to sort into words.  Gee, I wish I had your knack!

Your poetry is so full of love and emotion.
But most of all it is sincere and straight from the heart.

This I know.
Hugs, you~

Wonderful write, simply wonderful.
