the smell of soap
still lingers on my clothes
i scrubbed myself
clean of you
because i felt used

are your words clean
and pure
can you say things
to me
and know you've never spoken them before

my mind was a blank canvas
and your words the colour pallete
paint me jaded

i gave my world to you
but you,
you and your words
asked for the moon

If he asks for the moon ~ head for the hills! In your case, the beautiful mountains of Alberta!

Good to read you again.  I'm glad to find you still strong as an oak.  Your character is inspiring to me.  I see that you are writing beautifully.  It is always a treat to read your powerful, passionate, and touching writes.  I am always rootin' for ya!
