Patient Until Forever

I hear those voices again
chastising me
for living in a fantasy world
where believing in loving one,
was a foolish dream,
beyond my touch.

I have faded into myself
praying within,
my "sorrow for rent"
my happiness postponed,
as a princess I am not
and never could be.

I am in poor form,
my body matted in the sweat of tears,
with midnight coming too late
and morning too soon, trapped
in the wonderings of you.

Each day my world relies on fighting,
a springtime uprising needed
to move ahead from the fallings
of the past.

I have carved patience into my mind,
and the meant to be's...if ...
are on repeat, just in case
my forever comes true.

Wordsighing today,
when the body craves,
the mind loves, and the patient until forever
speaks in colors, blue
in reflection thereof.

Totally loved the whole thing but those two verses stood out for me...
