Listening to every heart

Seasons Change Senryu

Darkly, quietly
frost obnubilated day
obscurely to gray

Blowing windy say
obliterating spring’s day
clutching cold vainly

Spring, amiably,
beckoned Persephone, come,
softly, warmth slipped in

Crocus now peeks out
robins chasing worms about
soft winds kissing cheeks

Ah, winter’s last sigh
before assuming it’s leave,
left fond memories

Spring clouds gathering
Hearkening spring's growth frenzy
Hearts soar in response

Dandelions stretching
Waking to nature's cycle
Budding life surrounds

Through rubble and trouble and dark of night
The yawn of a dawn will hasten the light
