...just saw this, looked like fun...really enjoyed reading all the "challenger's) responses.  You guy's are such an awesome group.

Soul in Transition

I  am a soul in transition, a spirit unfulfilled
I wonder if there’s really a God, when I’m sure there is
I hear angel wings in the night
I see spirits in the dark
I want to be what I’m not
I am a soul in transition, a spirit unfulfilled

I pretend to be like everyone else – a facade
I feel the emotions of others
I touch their souls hoping they know
I worry all is for naught
I cry when other’s shed tears
I am a soul in transition, a spirit unfulfilled.

I understand the feelings we have
I say open your eyes, believe in the sky
I dream there’s truth in my beliefs
I try hard to live within their bounds
I hope it really wasn’t all for naught
I am a soul in transition, a spirit unfulfilled.

I am a soul in transition, a spirit unfulfilled

This is the best line I have read in a while. Challenge well met, Sir.

Beside my window
I wear a face born in the falling rain

"I say open your eyes, believe in the sky"

I see a person who looks at clouds in analysis and wonder.  Enjoyed reading about who you are.

"I am a soul in transition, a spirit unfulfilled"

I believe this applies to us all and I found the whole piece most insightful.

No competition for this one -- it's right up there at the top! Exactly the kind of thing I'd have written, if I could.

James, I hear you. I feel you. I like you.

I truly believe that it "wasn’t all for naught".

May your spirit glow with the Light of your beautiful essence.
