A MOSAIC

A myriad of Raindrops
Of different shape and size
Falling down to the Earth
Casting designs in the Sky.

Composed of many colors
Of different shade and hue
Reflected in such a way
They’ll be seen by very few.

The perspective must be right
Or they won’t be seen at all
The angle can’t be too great
Will be lost, if it’s too small.

For those who try to get closer
It will surely move away
There’s no way to reach it’s end
As some fairy tales may say.

If there were a pot of gold
It would not be enough to buy
One color of that spectrum
Of that light across the Sky.

A form of Nature’s artwork
In a very special gallery
Where the eyes of the beholders
Will determine what they see.

One of a kind and priceless
Although it’s free to everyone
It’s a water colored portrait
Of a mosaic of the Sun.
