bend the bridge over gravy
there are tears from pines
with bad knees
that waded in the mud mouths

and now they drift to spring
like metal buckles
gouging fenders into graffiti
when the fat man washes windows

on tiptoes in broken down shoes
laceless with gum as a part time job

I heard the liar speak
when she peeked in the sky
but I didn't understand
her words with hands over my ears

and an umbrella under my arm
just in case there was truth
in the spit of her whisper
and my ducky wouldn't float

much better than a sponge budda
with alum ink on his aluminum
but today still has sun light left
in the five celled pretention

of a dashlit hollow flashlight

You certainly don't monkey around
with your thoughts...

Dark
Reminds me of the childrens song. Round and round the mulbery bush, all fall down.

D, you're sounding more and more like a pacific nor'westerner.
Enjoyed the dark light tone of this.
