Lord, I know that sometimes you
get so busy with the things you have to do
But I was wondering if you could
take a moment to tend to someone so good~

His name is Coach Rob Graham
His family lives next door to me
I play with his daughter, Alexis
my sister, Landry, plays with little McKenzie~

Their mommy’s name is Tammy,
she keeps the daily hospital vigil
for the man she loves so well
Coach Rob is in a coma …
Lord, he’s not doing so well~

My ~Poet~, my mommy and my daddy, too
say you hear each prayer I make
So, Lord, I’m hoping that you
can touch Coach Rob and let him awake~

It’s not too much to ask, I just know,
for our dear friends need their daddy home
and you are the only one who can make it so~

Thank you, Lord, for listening
And for the miracle that only you can make come true
I just know that Coach Rob will be okay
for we all have all placed our faith in you~

I know that you hear each prayer that I make
Let Coach Rob now come awake~

~*~
Thirty-three year old Rob Graham is the basketball coach
for Bishop Moore High School, Orlando, Florida~
On February 19, while coaching a game, he fell to the floor in cardiac arrest~
He was finally brought back to life and hospitalized,
where he has remained in a coma since~

The other afternoon, Delaney whispered, with head bowed and hands clasped in prayer,
"Poet, do you know who I'm praying for?"

I replied, "Honey, I 'think' I know ... but you tell me."

She said, "I'm praying for Alexis and McKenzie's daddy,
cause my mommy said my prayers could help."

Tearfully, this ~Grandma Poet~ could only hug her and tell her,
"Yes, Delaney, your prayers will help."

Would you all join us in prayer vigil for Coach Rob?
On post #5 here I have placed a photograph of Rob and his girls~

Thank you all for joining Delaney's prayer vigil~

Her mommy and her daddy read her the poem last night ... she told me this morning that she always prays for Coach Rob ... cause God will make him feel all better~

Such a precious innocence of true faith in one so young~

*Huglets* to you all~

Just gotta highlight this one ... for a miracle has happened~

/pip/Forum3/HTML/003527.html

See, Delaney ... you were right, sweetie~

Praise God for His tender mercy for Rob~

This heart news was so badly needed here~
Continue to keep Coach Rob and his family in earnest prayer ... he's got a long way to go, but at least he will get a chance to go there !!!

Hallejuah !!
