In softest whispers you come to me
across the waves of eternity
Forever afloat, my thoughts of you,
onward on currents of moments imbued~

Written of the moon-swept tides
that move so gently to this loving abide
Sweeping you closer to this heart
where nevermore, darling, will we part~

I welcome the changing of the moon
with each tender reminder of the swoon
Music in crescendo breaks
upon the shore rippling notes do make~

You come to me nightly, on whispers borne
until you reach this heart forlorn
I still wait, listening to
nightly note whispers ... only of you~

~*When the heart grieves over what it has lost,
the spirit rejoices over what it has left.
- Sufi epigram <))><

Very lovely Marge!
Hugs~Nancy

For it was not into my ear you whispered
But into my heart
It was not my lips you kissed
But my soul

Margie, this made my day, and gave me a dream...if given any wish I would choose to live by the ocean....wonderfully enjoyed the beauty of this.  Thank you

Thank you all ... sometimes I don't know exactly 'where' a poem comes from, how it comes my way, what lovely Spirit whispers it to me ... but ... I KNOW when it's meant to be ... so I just let it flow~

AND THEN ... there comes the email message that lets me know just who and why ... so, Christy ... this one is yours,
not only FOR your friend ... but FROM your departed friend~

Appreciating each of you~

Wow Marge, to say this is beautiful seems to not do it justice. I swear I could hear the ocean rolling in. This is just outstanding. Loved it my friend.

Your words whisper to the soul, while the reader drinks in the beauty of the picture...  The rolling calm of the waves reflects in this poem, mesmerizing..
