In the arms of God...

Michael Auguste was your name
...my poet and artist friend.
Painting pictures of the sea
would help your heart to mend.

Since you left this spinning Earth
and joined God on Heavenly realm,
the sunsets seem more brilliant
and they cause my heart to melt.

I see those painted sunsets
and I wonder...is that you?
Could God have made you artist
of those painted scenes of hue?

I know that you'd be honored
and that you would 'do Him proud'!
With each stroke of painted gold
your praise would be strong and loud.

Yes, Michael is a part of all that splendor. His gifts were Divine and God brought him back Home to share his gifts with the angels.

A beautiful poem for a beautiful soul.

This is truly beautiful Rebecca, and I have no doubt at all that Michael is lending his artistic touch to the heavens..
