I can hear the storm So close So near Coming to cleanse the air Coming to cleanse The bad things And to renew plant life The rain has come To renew the lakes And the rivers That were down so low The rain has come To replenish The water aquifer So we humans have clean water to drink The rain has come To help all living things Poetry is beauty in words. |
