There's loon out on the lake
Below the evenin's blood red dusk
Above the noise of this old chevy
I can hear him callin us
These four lanes they just anger me
But I'm leavin this rat race
Gonna take my Yankee girlfriend
To another time and place

Oh take me back to Canada
To the sunlit gold dust on the snow
Where the morning sunrise
Is filled with silent hope
Take me back to Canada
to my northern windswept home
Where the girl that means so much to me
Can share the peace I know.

There's a vision in my destiny
of the A-Frame by the lake
And this sweet girl right beside me
it'll take her breath away
When we roll down those hillsides
Toward that royal blue display
I'll bless my gifts forever
With my Yankee lover's grace.

Oh take me back to Canada
To the sunlit gold dust on the snow
Where the morning sunrise
Is filled with silent hope
Take me back to Canada
to my northern windswept home
Where the girl that means so much to me
Can share the peace I know.

IF YOU HAVE TO JUDGE SOMEONE DO IT ON THE SIDE OF MERCY AND LET TIME SEASON THE RESULTS.

This shouts of a song,
and makes me wonder, what's the tune?
Enjoyed the Read.

"There's a vision in my destiny

Enjoyed   Back home there is an A-frame on the lake...I have stayed in it.

Eric

Where there is love, anyplace is beautiful.  I really loved the enthusiasm of your song's home though!
