A SNOWFLAKE FELL
~ Linda L. Dowd ~

+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+
A snowflake fell from heaven,
And landed on my nose.
It tickled as it melted,
Then slid down to my toes.

At that very moment,
A tear came to my eye.
Why was its life so short?
Why did it have to die?

The snowflake did not really,
Succumb to its demise.
For it became a water drop,
Before my very eyes!

This is very beautiful the way you describe the life of a snowflake.

Poetry is beauty in words.

Enchanting One ~

It truly is good to hear from you, Nancy. I had been into the archives in Smart Search looking for some of your phenomenal poetry, but all I could find are your posts in Announcements! It is as if your poems disappeared into cyber space! Blowing Nose

Yes, so true. A snowflake truly is a delicate piece of perfection! ~ But what would we do without water drops. Energy can transform but never can it be destroyed.

Mr. T. ~

You got that right! ~ and if we don't go with the flow ~ we drown! Ooops! That sounds rather harsh! Oh well, I'm in one of my earthy moods!
