Fear
of failure
strapped on my back
weighted by years of unknowing
that life could twist and strangle
what once was thought good.

Anxiety
of heart
beating so intensely
aching, resisting the knowing
that tomorrow will always come
and with it hope.

Waiting
for tomorrow
to become
today...

I wait for those tomorrows, too. Just hang on! They will come, when you least expect  it, and be better than you had hoped. Never give up!

wait no longer for tomorrow
for tomorrow never comes
and yesterday can't be bought
except for what it taught
today is all thats left
for that is all we have got
one should plan to live forever
and live it likes it not
life is full of simple pleasures
like walking barefoot in a warm cowpat
and if a turd isn't where you are at
try rolling in the daisies
even if some think you absurd
or let the wind stand your hair up straight
it may make you look a little rough
but it helps to blow away the dandruff
now if this has made you smile
then my day has been worthwhile
