when amber spines the dragon
and the sea is white string
praying to be ropes
that bind with brine
the toucher's eyes

a shadows dances in hollow wood
with boots that are spurless
but the gallop is there
in the heel's memory
a clatter of feathers on wet cotton

shape shift finger songs
strum the belly of woman
palms on hand backs
and knees that bleed
when imagination conjurs

a yacht with porcelain sides
and a bow that fits the back
like lovers leaning in comfort
when spoons are their skin ends
and the devourer waits to ravish

just a whispered guess of yes

ohhh yes, this was so complete, so warm and friendly, like a clear summer stream, washing down nature's rocks...gently hugging every crevice and crack, molding them round and smooth....

Ahhhhh, what a delightful read my friend.

Here dragon, dragon . . .   lovely D - and I especially like the last stanza - so warm and enveloping -

There will be no drowning
of my soul or me~
