by the sparkling water
   crashing waves, round about
by a mermaid's daughter
   with such blues, sung and felt
by the seas spray and foam
   rinsing away the tide
by her heart and her home
   by the loving seaside
by the daylight that ends
   over horizons crest
by the starlight which sends
   the warmth of nurtured breast
by the wind which dreams ride
   carried by her seas side
           **  consider yourself written upon  **
