In the roar as tender spring comes marching
Just of green the timid shoots perk and emerge
Still so shy in the contrary of becoming
Lengthened days and bridled sun converge

First to swell the hope of this time waking slowly
Then to hear the winsome breeze of promise made
All in all, a cautious outcome somewhat lonely
Nature speaks a whisper close, in smile conveyed

Smallest forward peers in homage to the east wind
Reassurance made in changes by degrees
Just as I have found this opening so vital
Both the morn and night to find upon my knees

A beginning stretches out in all directions
Finally favored in release of soaking rain
On a level intimate the seed of promise
But a bud, the love we make blooms forth again

"But a Bud" layered like warming green!  Love the way you portrayed fragile awakening!
