The sky is love’s sky and I cannot fly
but I take on the mood of a lady in blue
and merge mystically with all that is true
still in infancy down on the ground.

In mortal pretend no one can blend in
but I can be me and internalize love
as a propellant within to motivate flight
beyond the physical need of love’s touch
on cheeks where tears meet in sadness.

I can do it because I feel from the blue
the strange and mysterious force of all minds
instilling thought forms still yet to be known
as the seed from which magic is grown.

Forgive me today, yesterday, tomorrow,
for planting my seeds in unfertilized soil
but nothing is nothing and begets nothing
if never a thought is dropped into mind
and allowed to surface in its own time.

My garden grows somewhere a beautiful rose,
soon petals to ground like love never found
till the sweet, ever sweet, realization of need
shoots like a spark from the depths of a heart!
