In burning passion,
the ground melts beneath my feet;
becoming water-
flowing in rivers surging;
rising silent as dawn mist.

~~~~~~<@>~~~~~~
If you feel ignored,
it is only this nameless dread
masked as decorum-
where my sheltered heart awaits,
thirsting, this arid winter.
Summer's first kiss,
right now a far away dream
on snow-laden branches.
If you feel ignored,
it is only this nameless dread
masked as decorum-
where my sheltered heart awaits,
thirsting, this arid winter.
let your heart drink
and break thru the winter
of incarceration
spring waters its daffodils
as the avalanch thaws soon
the dread of the such dryness
within reach of love's tonic.
Such hope,
awaiting daffodils,
in a snow-clad sky-
golden trumpets of sunlight
heralding spring's emergence.
