Do Feelings Really Matter?

When life forces alternatives
to leave you suffering more,
do you walk a zigzag path of new
discharging feelings poor?

Do you look into those eyes,
to see what lies, exist
the interplay, the trusting of,
commitment in resist.

Do you line the time, investing more
give in, give up, just leave,
sell off what means the most to you
walk away from misperceive?

Do you dwell, rely "midsummer's eve"
and fantasy to dream
hold on to love's once yesterday
when quilted thoughts held seam.

Unraveling now, what felt so real
the quiet emptiness.
The gifts in hands no longer mine
just words now, nonetheless...

I hold you in the type, my own
that's all, I must confess.
Velvet petals, deepened red
and Baby's Breath in press.

That's all there is, that is to hold
when memories reel to real.
Impossible once thought to be,
the way you made me feel.

I just wish to thank anyone who has ever read me these last few months especially.

I find it necessary to take my leave for now.

Feelings really do matter~~

Maureen..this aches to read.
I feel your pain in this outpouring of feelings.
Be well sweet lady.
